In the SI rumor mill, they say the Vikings are looking to offer their No. 7 overall pick + a player or two for Larry Fitzgerald. Would you want, or do you think it's realistic, that the Dolphins try and jump into this IF the Cardinals are indeed shopping Fitzgerald around? Say maybe our 9th overall pick, and another player or two?
 
I'd give it serious consideration.

Fitz is a young stud and I see no reason for Arizona to be shopping him around.
 
Good idea....maybe he can throw the ball to himself.
 
The number 7 pick is nowhere near Fitz's value, in a couple of years time I think he could be hands down the best reciever in the league. I don't see any reason the cards would trade him, I can see them playing for the superbowl in the next three seasons.

I agree with your first two statements. I think Fitzgerald is already a top ten receiver and should only get better from here on out. However, I really can't picture the Cardinals in the Super Bowl anytime soon, they just lose...all the time. Its kind of like in baseball, I learned never to bet against the Braves to win the NL East until they lost this past season. I can never see the Cardinals making a playoff run until it has actually happened.
 
Larry is a beast for the cards along with Boldin. I dont see them trading him or Boldin to tell you the truth but if they did decide to trade someone it would probably be A. Boldin.
 
Honestly it would depend what player they wanted with the pick. I'd also ask for their 3rd rounder to go with Fitz.

Fitz + 3rd Rounder for 1st rounder + Player
 
Could simply be a cse of the Vikings calling the Cardinals about Fitzgerald. And the Cards simply listening. You always listen.

There are only a handful of guys in this league are untouchable. And they're all quarterbacks. Everybody else can be had for the right price. Now, the price might be exorbitant for some of the "honorable mentions" like LaDanian Tomlinson. But they technically CAN be had.

As for Fitz, there's rumors of him not being happy with Denny Green being fired. And he used to be a ballboy at Vikings games when Green was the HC there. He's from Minneapolis. But that all could very easily pass once he gets to know Ken Whisenhunt.
