Larry Johnson Is A Stud

Franco Harris was the last great back to come out of Penn st. that I can remember. Blair Thomas & Curtis Enis were 1st round busts and Larry Johnson is well on his way. I would trade him for Freeman plus a conditional pick depending on his production.
Curt Warner played for Penn State and had a nice career for Seattle. 6800 yards and 56 TD's in basically 6-1/2 seasons. Did a number on us in the 1983 AFC playoffs.

Smacks did you read we were going to deal away a pick as well (if we were to make a deal) or are you assuming we would make the error of adding in a pick, which would not surprise me?

I have read it a few times on this baord...no where else yet but I'm sure someone in here can give you a link..

POST OF THE YEAR!

Oh where do I begin... PSU grad here, been to every Penn State home game for the past 6 years..... seen the good, seen the bad.

LJ sucks... He had a GREAT LINE in penn state. He got most of his yards in his 2000 yard, 9-3 season, against CRAP teams. Look at the numbers he put up against OSU, Michigan, and Iowa State in their losses.

LJ is the CLASSIC PSU running back. Great in college, but not pro material. Penn State produces great linebackers and great lineman. Thats about it.

I dont know what Penn State games you have watched, but come on. Just cause a guy gets 2000 yards in college doesnt mean squat. He got half of the yards against Northwestern and Michigan State and Indiana and such...

LJ is another mediocre RB that WE DONT NEED TO TRADE FOR!
Thank you for answering my earlier question.

I guess he hasn't won a Superbowl... This message board thing will work out for you much better if you know what you are talking about.
Hmmmm... Last time i checked, you guys are a bigger flop than the fins. They expected you to go to the SB this year. By the way, Johnson is a busted 3rd stringer that the Phins would be better off without. Maybe you could get Lamont Jordan from us, oh yeah you don't want him he fumbles too much.

Who???
Curt Warner was a great RB for the Seahawks. I had practically forgotten all about him. For anyone interested in seeing some more in-depth stats of his, please click here.

I would make this trade in a heartbeat. I have thought Freeman sucks since day one and Johnson is way better then a third string RB. You don't get 2,000 in a 10-12 game season in college by sucking.

Larry Johnson is a stud in every sense of the word. Look, Gordon is not a future back for this team. Face it he's just not good enough. Minor is too small and can't break any tackles. Leonard Henry was only activated because he was on the practice squad he is our 4th or 5th string running back, and Morris lets be reasonable here he hasn't done anything in his career. OUR RUNNING BACKS AND QUATERBACKS SUCK. I watched Penn State play two years ago and Larry Johnson is an ANIMAL. He is strong, can shed tackles, hes quick, and can stop on a dime. The Chiefs are in desperate need of a Defensive back and that is where Arturo Freeman comes into play. I would trade Arturo to the Chiefs for Larry Johnson in a heartbeat. Larry Johnson could possibly be the future of this team, if we get him.

ki jana carter and curtis enis sure looked great at penn state too....

ok, every other press conference then.....wanna bet the farm that vermeil sheds tears on TV before the season is over? LIke I said before, vermeil has not done anything except prove he can coach a team to the playoffs and then choke...just like wanny.

LOL wow you have no clue, Dick Vermeil is the reason St Louis Won those superbowls, and Mike Martz hasnt been able to do jack since. Not to mention he managed to build the cheifs into a competetive team.

Comparing him to Wanny is the most asinine comment in this thread.
