Any Fins fans in KC or anybody with friends that are KC fans? I'd really like to know why this guy fell off the map.

Look at his stats I've posted below (deleted - did not look right once posted) . Herm abused the kid in 2006 when he had 1789 yards rushing and a 41 receptions (so he can catch too). That was an amazing year.

After 2006, he never started a full 16 game season again. Was he hurt? Was it the off the field crap? Did he now suck?

He averaged 4.4 yards per carry for the Bengals in 2009...the only year he was below 4.0 was last year in Washington and in KC for half the year in 2009. In 2008 he almost had 1,000 yards in only 12 games.

I didn't like the move at first but for a third string guy who runs hard, I am going to love seeing this guy run the rock in the fourth quarter. Although I would have rather had Ronnie as a #3, but for the money/age, I think this could be a good pick up.

Bottom line, since 2003 LJ has played in 84 games, that's 4 games over 5 seasons. At 31, I think he just might have a year or two left in the tank. Also, if you had to choose which back you'd least want to tackle out of Reggie, DT, & LJ - LJ has to be that guy right now.

I believe there is some statistic where when a running back gets over 400 carries in a season, his career quickly goes downhill from there.

Lots and lots of off field problems. Hopefully his head is on straight and he can contribute. If not ...... say good bye.

He cares only when its convenient for him. The rest of the time its Welcome to Larrys World. Wears even the best of coaches out. When a team usually needs him the most he just not give two craps. Other then his God given talent he has zero dedication to the sport, his team mates or his coaches. Like I said, he wears even the best coaches patience thin. Thats up until this point anyway. Everyone deserves a chance and we gave him one. What he does with it is entirely up to him.
