I like Mandich, his "Alright Miami!" is classic.

By the way how would you know that, what have you gone to each market and listened to each teams radio broadcast?

I actually like the phins radio call. Listen in to any local call of an NFL game, and you'll hear blatant 'homerism'. Cefalo was pretty bad but I think he's improved quite a bit.

I love our people especially when mandrich goes "I loooooove ittttttttt!!!"

Cefalo and Joe Rose are a freakin joke. Its embarrassing listening to their calls. I like Mandich alot...I think he fits better in a two man booth though without big mouth Rose screaming like a banshee all out of control...

The Fins broadcast team just needs a better play-by-play guy. It's rare that you see an ex-player doing play-by-play. Cefalo sounds constipated... Joe Rose is kind of a dummy, but he can be funny. Mad-dog is pretty qucik-witted and comes up with some funny stuff. I liked during the Fins last second win vs. the Jets, he said that Rex Ryan looked like he just drank a bunch of castor oil.

I have (thanks to Sirius Satellite) and we're easily bottom five. I love Mandich, but Rose and Cefalo are awful.

The only ones I can honestly say are worse are the Rams and Bills. Even garbage teams like the Raiders, Bucs, Browns and Lions have great commentators.

Dude, I have Sirius as well and I'm sorry to say we are not the worst.

Fair enough, I stand corrected.

I always watch the game highlights with the radio calls after our games. Our radio crew always gives me a good laugh.

Larry King was a weak and rambling color analyst. I remember when Rick Weaver would get obviously annoyed, disgust in his voice. He'd cut off King and try to redirect the broadcast back to something that was actually playing out on the field. I think that combo lasted only one year, Weaver's first, then King was replaced.

King was great with his Sports a la King talk shows on WIOD a few years later, after his exile, but the Dolphin broadcasts were better off without him. Weaver and Henry Barrow alone were my favorite group although Barrow was relatively bland for a color analyst. He specialized in post game interviews from the locker room, asking sharp simple questions and everyone was willing to talk to him.

But Barrow was the worst sports talk show host in Miami history, or certainly the least informed. His repertoire was basically confined to the Dolphins alone. When he was forced to sub for someone it was comical. A caller would ask, "What do you think of the Lakers this year?" Barrow had no ammo so it was always, "What do you think?"
