Sorry for making another Dolphin jersey thread but hopefully this can be the last one and the one that everyone goes to for their own questions. My problem right now is understanding all the different types. I want a Culpepper official authentic one if that is what it is even called. What I want is an aqua jersey with the names stitched in and all. What is that called exactly? How much do they cost and where should I get it from? How do I wash them so it does not get ruined? I currently own a Taylor and Ricky jerseys and they are just stickers and rly are crummy now from putting them in the washer with all my other clothes. They are stickered. So what are all the jerseys, differances/advnatages, price range, etc.? Thank you for all and in depth info is greatly appreciated. Sorry for making another thread once again but hopefully with this explanation, I can get a good, str8 answer. Let me know if the thread is in a wrong place too. Thanks in advance!

What you want is an authentic jersey from a reputable dealer like this one that Finheaven.com apparently endorses based on the link up top. You don't want to buy on eBay unless you're very careful because there are a lot of knockoffs there. An authentic is going to set you back around $275 by the looks of it.

I don't know anything specific about care, but I'm guessing that the preferable method is dry cleaning. I imagine you can do it with the home drycleaning products like Dryel, though I'm not sure if the material is made to stand up to heat like that. I think the best suggestion is to wear an undershirt and try not to spill when you have it on.

You'll get opinions on this issue from both ends: those who say the Ebay knockoffs are fine, and those who prefer the real deal. I personally used to think the immitations were fine, until I got a genuine authentic. They are amazing. If you are willing to fork over almost $300 for one, you won't regret it. I don't feel guilty, because the money I used to buy it was won in a football bet, the day the Dolphins caught up and beat the Bills.

I agree, I have a rookie Marino replica, its great, but it does not compare to the real 1994 one I have. I also have his last seasons one too. My wife bought me a Chambers rookie one, that I wear all the time, Get a real one you never regret it. Just buy a player that will be here forever, if possible.

Maybe I can clear up some misconceptions, and I am glad this is the last jersey thread by the way. Dolphin authentics retail for 259.99 from Reebok and 279.99 on the offical Dolphin web site. Do NOT dry clean your jersey (it even says that on the tag). I reccomend using fabric cleaner wipes to avoid machine wash. I also agree to only buy from a trusted online site or retailer. Ebay is too risky. Unfortunately most stores wont be carrying the new authentics for a couple months, so phins.com is prolly ur best bet if u cant wait. Just be smart, use your judgment and take of the jersey. It will last you forever if u do.

Nice, sounds good. I guess the common problem is that I never see it everywhere I go. I guess that no stores are getting the Daunte authentic until the season starts, not sure. I am going to wait till summer, hopefully the price drops a little and I can work up some money. Thanks.
