Man Beck looks pretty good to me....very accurate passer...throws a beautiful pass

Yeah Vertical Limit me too..

But that one play I think he had a brain freeze when he threw it in the dirt when the play wasn't there...that tells me he's thinking to much and is not going by his instincts..he could of ran it..

I don't think it was a brain freeze, I think it was a screen play that went bad and BP is big on throwing the ball away if the play isn't there. I think he had time to find another player open, but I think Beck knows as do all the QB's mistakes and bad decisions won't be tolerated and he simply chose to kill the play. I think that was a smart choice.
 
I want to see what all the fuss is about Henne...because I thought Beck played good against 1st team D...
 
I agree, I think Beck did well against the first string defense. One throw was a little behind, but still catchable, IMO.

I agree, I think if you go back and watch Becks first pass to A.Fassano, you'll see John coulkd have thrown a swing pass to Ricky at the top of the screen, he was wide open with a LB about 11 or 12 yards down the field. I think Ricky would have been the better option, but I think this was another play in which Beck was told "Throw it here, nowhere else" even though Beck was going to Fassano all along he looked downfield first not tiping his had as to where the ball was going and Fassano got a few more yards because of it.

Little things like that make a huge difference in what we see and how we judge. Everyone expects Beck to be lights out and when he does what he's told and has success, somehow there are those that refuse to give him credit. Beck may be traded, he may be released, but he is doing what he's told and he having success.

Who felt that Beck looked decent. I was about to start a new thread on that topic. Waiting to see Henne now........
 
And someone please bring up a situation that gave anyone any kind of indication, just by watching tape, that his demeanor sucked, he looked like a *****, and that he gets no respect in the huddle.
 
Ok Henne's in with Miamis 1st team O-line against Bucs second team D
 
I bet Ronnie wishes he would of been up against the 2nd team D..:D
