again a very bad performance by the officials , something the NFL has to take care of right now .

in the last play what was the official call ? it happened a bit to fast for me , was it 4th down ? was it ruled a fumble ? looked to me as a forward pass before the sack not a fumble , if that was the case arizona had still 5 seconds on the clock to try another TD pass .

to say the truth i feel the fins are not far from the level these two teams have . to my taste arizona deserved it more , that INT by harrison for a TD was devastating and still they got ahead . we are not far from this level .

I don't believe it was a fumble either. And the replay, if there even was one seemed rushed.

not far from these teams? did you watch the arizona game when they made the dolphins look foolish?
or when miami was dominated on their homefield by a team pittsburgh beat 3 times? think again..

Ruled a fumble and Steelers ball. They reviewed from upstairs, but never had the ref go under the hood. In my opinion the refs should have looked under the hood and made sure it was a fumble because there were still 15 seconds left in the game and it would have been an incomplete pass which would have stopped the clock and gave the Cards another shot from 45 yards to the endzone.

i thought it was incomplete too.
but it was one hell of a game.

Sorry, but only the New England Patriot's QB gets a do-over late in the 4th quarter when he fumbles the ball with the game on the line. :rolleyes2:

On a play like that they have to take their time and allow the ref to see the play. It may have been the right call? I don't know, it was that close so they should have taken their time and reviewed it.

it looked like the right call to me. The defender had a hand on the ball while it was still back. I still think they should have reviewed it though. Did the cards ever use that last challenge that they had? I don't know if that might have something to do with it. Either way, I thought it was a great game.

There is no doubt the play should have been reviewed, was definately a close call. The defender had a hand on the ball when it was back, but Warner did manage to throw it forward, although I do not believe he had complete possession. Probably was called correct but I would be furious as a Cardinals fans (all 10 in the world.)

An important point as is the Steelers were called for an unsportsmanlike penalty that would have put the Cards 15 yds closer to ~30ydline, with about 10 seconds remaining (the clock would have been reset to when the ball hit the ground.

10 second and Larry Fitz means ya got a shot.

They should have reviewed it for more than 3 seconds. I thought his arm was going forward, but that's me.

It may not of been overturned. I still think they've gotta go to the hood and look at it regardless. Also the ball would've been moved up 15 yards giving the Cards a better chance of getting the td. If they go look under the hood nobody is having this discussion today.

to me, it looked like Woodley hit the ball and Warner did not have full possession of the ball while his hand was moving foward.

As I said in the game thread, the only BAD call was the roughing the passer on Dansby because it wasn't really late, wasn't a hit to the head, or a shot at the knees. I didn't know that running into the holder was a penalty, but he did run into the holder.

Steelers earned this victory.
