Lets assume we keep all of our 6th & 7th round picks. Who are some of the players you think we should target that should be available?

For me:

WR Roy Hall
WR Steve Breaston
DE Jay Richardson

I've seen some mocks that suggest TE Scott Chandler would still be on the boards in the 6th/7th round. If so he'd be on my list too. I think we should go after either Chandler or Matt Spaeth because of their height / red zone presence, but thats another topic.

So who do you like?

Juwan Simpson, LB from Alabama
LeRon McClain, FB from Alabama

Matt Trannon, Kyle Cook, Jeff Rowe, Matt Gutierrez, Stephon Heyer, Chase Johnson and Legedu Naanee.

Amen on the choice of McClain...

Juwan Simpson, LB from Alabama
LeRon McClain, FB from Alabama

And with the use the fullback in Cameron's offense this guy would be there a while.

Lee2000 I like the kid from South Carolina that played some quarterback and wide receiver Newton?

I like the 6th and 7th rounds for drafting 3-4 guys to develop. Our needs in the 3-4 are so specific in some areas that it is often a good idea to just draft a guy who fits the physical requirements and then mold him into the player you want. That is why I like guys like Matt Toeaini (DE), Jacob Ford (OLB), and Quintin Echols (NT).

Omg someone who knows Legedu Naanee!

I'd say a lot of the boise state players, as most will still be here in the 6th and 7th round.

I.E. Korey Hall (LB) Legedu Naanee (WR) Derek Schouman (TE) And of course my boy. Jared Zabransky (QB).

Le'Ron McClain FB Alabama, Jermon Bushrod T Townson (I think), Jacob Bender T Nicholls State, Stanley Doughty NT South Carolina, Germaine Race RB Pitt. St, Jeff Rowe QB Nevada, Matt Trannon WR/TE MSU, Jon Cornish RB KU

Roy Hall is a guy i've talked about before. Im all for this guy in the late rounds. I have no idea how a 6-2 230lb wr with 4.38 speed makes it to the 6th or 7th round though. I've yet to see a 7 round mock with him in it though.

Ryan Moore, I know draft board and other fin fans have him as a free agent, but i believe he could be a steal with our last 7th Round pick. The reason I say use the pick vs free agent is that once he is a free agent he can sign with any one. Moore has the size, game speed, and can fight for the ball (leaping abilities) and character (He has matured). I know i am going to get barraged with hell no.... we dont need to take him. Put he is my pick. I would have said Walker from UCF but he is going to get drafted at a higher position.

Lack of playing time. When he first started playing I thought he was going to be our next big receiver. However, there was this new kid wearing Chris Gambles old jersey with the name Ginn who kept making plays.

I actually just saw a mock with Hall going in the 7th to Miami.

I like Ball from NH, and Syvelle Newton has some intriguing potential as a versatile ATH type player we could use at WR and DB. We may wanna look at DeShawn Wynn from UF, too. He's a projected 6th rounder or so, and he has the tools to develop into a nice backup behind Ronnie.
