Late round or FA qb

If we dont draft a qb in the top 4 rounds, I wouldnt mind drafting Brett Elliott as a 7th rd flier. The kid actually beat out Alex Smith for the job at Utah in 2003 and then broke his wrist. Because of that he transferred to little Linfield College a Div IIIschool. I saw him at the Hula Bowl and he impressed me. He has a good arm, not the strongest but can make all the throws, has deadly accuracy and has the intelligence. He would need grooming but if we get Brees, he could sit and learn for a couple years. As a 7th rd flier, what is teh risk?

Should nice to see how well he can do. Would be a nice story if he could do well. However I dont see him making our roster cause of Lemon
