Sounds good to me. But I'm doubting that Flacco will be there at 32.

Perhaps you should have told Michigan that small schools = slower athletes. Dexter Jackson and Appalachian State ran around and away from Michigan all day in their upset win. He'll definately be there at 32, but I doubt we take him. He far from NFL ready. I think he's good prospect. Coming from a small school he didn't play against very good competition (small school s= slower athletes). I think he will need a couple years before he sniffs the field. We have more immediate needs at this time.
I think if it came down to Brohm or Flacco at #32, you have to go with Brohm. I like Flacco's arm, but I think he needs a lot of work....his footwork doesn't seem to be that great and he could up end being like Andrew Walter or Drew Bledsoe....great arm but very slow.
Not sure how you can be slow when you run a 4.86 /40...and the fastest 3 cone for a QB weighing 236 lbs. The funny thing is they say the same thing about 95% of the QB's coming out of the draft. Marino was slow...how did he do? Vinny was slow...the same. Brady...forgetaboutit...LOL. Three things you can't teach a QB...size, accuracy and arm strength...most everything else can be taught.
The major concern about Flacco is his footwork.....40 speed is not that big a deal /....it is more important as a QB how you are able to backpeddle, and how you are able to elude defenders.
I dont like the Flacco pick there either. Sure he may well be a good prospect but we need help in more areas and dont have the luxury of drafting a QB to sit for 2/3 years.
Miami safety Kenny Phillips, Ohio State tackle Gosder Cherilous and USC TE Fred Davis would be more useful selections at the 33rd spot.
