Lavar was on earlier today on the OJ and Sid show and he said that he's definitely going to talk with the Dolphins about coming down here to play. He just had a daughter and he said that he "would love to raise her in the south florida weather." Hopefully we can have a 3-headed linebacking monster of Zach,Lavar, and Channing!!!

oooo mann! ahhaaa now thats dirtty goood

and i doubt money is a HUGE issue for him as he spent 4.4 to be a FA
 
I'd take him. If we filled our main needs and still had the money to get him
 
be careful what you wish for...I've been one of Lavar's biggest supporters in the past but I've come to realize over time that while he talks a good game and is very charming w/ the media he is vastly overrated....
 
There is no way we can afford him and Brees, Mawae, Adams, Ashworth. Each one will want big money.
 
If Miami could get Arrington, and get him to play within their system, he could be a great player.

Brees will want the big money and his deal will probably a back end loaded one to allow us to sign some FA. Mawae and Adams won't because they know their age will have teams shying away from giving big money to them. (Much like Seau did when he signed with us.) Ashworth, I'm not sure about. He may be willing to sign a reasonable offer with us just to get back at NE for letting him go.
 
If Denver can manipulate the cap for the last 20 years then we can do it. Every year they have cap trouble and still sign 4-5 big name free agents. Like last year they got 2 or 3 former first round picks and Lynch and well two many to list but you see what I'm saying. A good GM can suprise but we haven't ever had one so don't be suprised if we are able to make alot of noise in FA.

exactly i said we can accomplish this and everyoen bashed on me. no one has the knowledge to think along the bus. side of thigns to put all factors into affect regarding contracts they just hear a big name and say impossible instead of looking at age, personality, attitude, the coach, etc etc
 
If we can afford him and if he can play up to his potential it would be a great signing for us.
