Would you like to see the Fins pursue Arrington if the price was reasonable. It's now clear that we need another OLB with the release of Junior Seau. Now I know that Arrington is probably going to comand a lot of money to sign, but would anybody be in favor of signing him?

I would love to sign him, especially if the new CBA goes through.

Arrington, IMO, is overated...I'm a big Penn State fan, and he and Courtney Brown looked good coming out of college...But they've fallen behind the pack...He's not worth "wasting" our needed FA money on at this point...i see him out there again in FA in a couple of years...he's past HIS prime....

I'm not in favor of signing him. He plays out of position too much and will command too much money. There will be better ways of spending money in free agency.

We're not going to persue Arrington. Last I heard on sports talk radio, he loves DC.......he's tired of switching coordinators and having to adjust to a new system every year. He was helping out the team by terminating his previous contract.

We just need to bring Seau back as assistant LB coach and he can bring anyone Saban brings in in FA or the Draft and show them the needed fundamentals and intensity that took him to 12 Pro Bowls

Man, you seem to have a great opinion on everything.....Good mind, i look forward to more posts....

If the price was right, i wouldn't mind signing him....imagine that Crowder, Thomas & Arrington!

Exactly, it all depends on the price. Anyone who says "No, we shouldn't sign him" Is just being rediculous.

Unfortunately someone will probably pay him more than he's worth. However, if the price was right I'd love to get him in Miami.

i think we can spend the money to keep spragan and get another decent FA, and use the excess money to spend on O, or use it to target a better 2nd or 3rd round draft pick....I'd love A.J. Hawk, but no chance....Maybe Bobby Carpenter???

Im not saying we should sign this guy, but overrated? The problem is not this guy's skill, it's his attitude. When his head is right (albeit that hasn't been often during his career) he is one of the best Lb's in the league. I agree he would demand a lot of money and I don't think Saban wants to shell out for veteran free agents espeically at that position.

That's priceless coming from the guy with 14 posts to the guy with almost 13,000.

:sidelol:

Seriously, welcome aboard, guy. We'll bump into each other a good bit. :)

i think it was clear long before seau got released.

it would be nice to get arrington, but that's just a dream at this point.

Isn't Julian Peterson a FA? I don't think either will be a Phin, but Peterson(having played at Mich. State)would be the more likely pick up.
