Jets | Law Deal Done
Mon, 8 Aug 2005 05:32:13 -0700

Karen Crouse, of the New York Times, reports the <A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/27/nfl">New York Jets and free agent CB Ty Law (Patriots) have reached a contract agreement, according to his publicist, Elita Lee. No contracts terms were released, but the contract is said to be a multi-year deal.

Let him go. He is damaged goods.

No way he finishes the season.

I hate to wish bad on anyone but I hope his *** stays crippled.....please!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate the Jets more then anyone (see avatar), but they may have just helped themselves big time, if he can be close to what he was, I don't even want to think about it! They just beat the snot out of the Giants and had tough guy Coughlin crying after the practice the other day!!

I just hope Chad is the same old paper Chad and gets hurt! And Herm keeps making bad game day calls!

Hopefully Law remains damaged goods and will be a nice big hit to the Jets salary cap......also hope Fiedler is the Jets QB, which will mean Law will be on the playing field quite a lot. Can you say "Fiedler gets intercepted on a slant route?" I knew you could!!!!!

Least he'll help them try and beat his former team in New England. Maybe even give a few secrets away.

That's the problem with a former teammate staying in the same division. Hmmm

I'm so glad that saban didn't pull the trigger on Law and Here's why!

As we all know about runing backs, Corner-backs that hit 30 will loose some skills, and then throw in a foot injury he will be in trouble when he lines up againts Chambers/Boston!:D Personally I can't wait to face the crop-dusters, and see Feidler and Law underachieve. Thank you Saban for not spending any money on Law. Finally, you know with the mouth and the money They spent on him they are forced to put him in the starting line-up.

You will see Law play but sadly you won't see Fiedler do anything but warm up. Chad is throwing and is accurate. He will play week one.

The Ty Law signing is pretty good news. Even if he comes back at 85% he is an upgrade for us and since we were 4th in points allowed last year, this can only be considered to strengthen or defense.

Having him play against the Pats is huge. If he can get us over that hump twice (maybe three times) this year, he is worth every penny.
