And T annehill didnt help... But we had enough talent to go toe to toe with them and Lazor tried to go gimmick style with them in the first half, 0-5 passes gimmick plays BS... Lazor played scared... D did enough to kkep us in the game but at some point, if you dont score against the pats, they re going to destroy you at home...

Whatever, we all penciled that one as a loss in pre-season, short week in NE was sort of a miracle win... My opinion doesnt change on any of these guys... Next week NEEDS to be a WIN... Absolute NEED...

I agree. Went to gimmicky and didn't try to set the tone. Have to make good calls against this team. Don't play into there hands.

I thought there were some bizarrely bad playcalls, but execution was a far bigger problem.

Lamar Miller has a wide open gaping hole outside and cuts back inside for absolutely no reason. Stills drops a pass. Tanny throws an interception. We snap the ball too soon and it results in a safety.

You can't blame that stuff on Lazor.

But you can blame him for abandoning the run way too early. Our chance for success tonight was to run the ball effectively. We had less than 30 yards rushing for the game. We can't win that way.....

Lazor really need to learn to commit to the run. He packs it in too quickly. Campbell needs to sit down and tell him that if Lamar doesn't get 12+ touches before the half, he's docking his pay for the week.

His attempts to outsmart BB were really embarrassing. Lazor walking into the middle of the field and jerking off really slowed down any early momentum. It really doesn't take long for this guy to get carried away with himself.

But that's just it.. he does this every game. Look at the Houston game, the texans were unable to stop some of those gimmick plays and Miami wins big. Against a good team like Pats they don't work.

Lazor is a bad OC, period.

Yea the fake screens and misdirections sucks against a well coached team

I thought after a nice start on the first drive, after I think we got penalized and put in a bad position and had to punt, Lazor got away from some stuff that had potential. First play, Miller runs for 8 or 9. Then he disappeared, it seemed.

Tannehill lost his cool, just like he did in the Bills' games the last few years when he was hoping he'd live to see another day. Except he wasn't under the same kind of pressure tonight. I thought he panicked. I thought Lazor panicked. Mentally, neither was up to this challenge.

The play calling wasn't smart, and we had almost no running game.

49 passes and 13 runs. Where have we seen this before??? Oh ya in all the other losses. Lazor absolutely deserves blame, execution on not.

I put a huge blame on Lazor, but I can't lie and say RT made it any better. His mental game is iffy at best. He panics a ton when things start to go bad for a franchise guy. The oline was crap, but RT had time on some throws and just made mistakes.

Lazor panics. He gives up on gameplans way too quickly. He abandons the run on the first no-gainer.

I think he may have gotten gimmicky because the team scored like 80 points the last two weeks doing that. Just a hunch. And also because the only time his starting QB played well the entirety of last season was doing the same things. But that's just a hunch.
