I think Pope could make the transition to left outside linebacker and takeover Spragans position. Pope is a playmaker who is all over the ball and plays smart. Spragan is a great backup LB. :dolphins::dolphins::dolphins::dolphins:

I disagree. I actually think that he should replace Crowder at WLB and we should move Crowder to SLB on the outside.

I definitely saw a physical beast out there when Pope played out there. But Spragan has played 2 good games back to back if you pay attention.

I worry to how injured Crowder is.
 
Pope has had good instincts and generally plays well...but historically has been out of position too much. If he were to "start"...hopefully after being under Saban's defensive system for a couple of years would serve him well.
 
No they shouldn't do that and Spragen has played well the past 2 games.
 
Pope cannot play strongside OLB. The position involves sitting on the LOS and dealing with blockers. That is not something Pope can do well or should be asked to do.
 
i thought spragen was garbage at the beginning of the year but he has made a handful of plays in the last two games. But we need a healthy crowder
 
just out of curiousity, whatever happened to keith newman?

i agree i love pope he is a beast at Special teams!!
