Best Defensive Player: Senior LB Trent Bray. Bray is a pure football player. He might not have NFL measurables, but he's always all over the field and he's a premier playmaker. There are few surer tacklers against the run.

Sounds pretty good to me. Not injury plauged with capabilities to stop the run. May be a good OLB in a year or 2. He can immedietly start on special teams and be the 3rd LB this year.

I still cant predict who our starting OLB will be. Any guesses.
The LB we sent to europe is doing O.K. But I would feel a little uneasy going from Seau to that.

Best guess is the other LB will come after June cuts. Saban didn't see anyone that came up that was an upgrade after the first pick so took BPA at need positions. I would think that next round of cuts he will zero in on OLB that will be playing for us if need is as big to him as it appears to us fans.

His father was an OSU coach and he grew up around the game. Sounds like a plus.

Bray's a heck of a football player. You don't always go for the best athlete when it comes to ILBs. You can make your size preferences known there without a problem but in terms of athleticism it isn't always about that.
