well, as great as it would be to have a league just make the best game of the week primetime, the schedual was set months ago before the all the drama surrounded this game.

hotel reservation, airline reservations, practice scheduals, tv scheduals not as easy as it sounds.

The NFL considered having a "flexible" Monday Night Schedule so they could maybe put the best matchup out there for Monday Night, but for now the whole season is decided way ahead of time. I bet the league would give the Dolphins a few prime time games now if they could, but I think in some ways it is better not to be in the spotlight.

Actually.... next year that is set to change.

The NFL is promoting Sunday night as "THE" primetime games since MNF will be moving to ESPN. They will have a flexible schedule for the last 7 weeks of the season. Hopefully if it works out they will move it up earlier in the season.

when the schedule was made they were probably anticipating, 0-4 MIA @ 1-3 TB with no ricky.i don't really blame them. this is a pretty big game for both teams.

funny thing the 49ers,Browns,Bears,Titans all got prime time games....O'well from what I read the other day alot of players dont like PT games..so Im sure the Vets are happy.
