LEAKED EARLY? - Schedule Release Thread

? I’m not talking preseason.

It was week 1 regular season
Happened late in 4th quarter, less than a minute left and Miami was up 3 points. Etienne was running inside the Dolphin 10 with only Holland in his way for a TD.

I’m sure there are highlights of that game somewhere but I think there was less than a minute to go in that game.
That fumble definitely happened in the 3rd quarter

How they played at Buffalo is indicative of who they are as a team, that’s why it’s relevant. I’ve never sat here and said they were going to win or even compete for the Super Bowl. Right now they are what they’ve been for the last 4 years, a 10-7 kind of team. They didn’t maximize their potential given the resources they’ve had.

Combating constant exaggerated negativity doesn’t mean I’m predicting greatness.

If someone is going to sit here and tell me my team is absolute trash and I don’t believe that to be the case, I would be a pretty big piece of crap if I just joined in, fair to say?
The only thing in the NFL that is worse than being absolute trash: is being mediocre - you say 10-7 - our record was 8-9 - we would need an entire attitude shift and a few players EXCEEDING by far expectations… otherwise this thing falls apart more… it could happen though w McD I don’t see it…

First game of season fumble at 2:20 left third quarter. Next play 80 yard touchdown to Hill. Only fumble of the game.

6:59 make of video next play Hills TD.

Or Tua could just be healthy and continue to be anything but a losing QB, somethings he’s never been.

As if I’m going to pretend games lost by Skylar Thompson and Tyler Huntley are somehow indicative of the actual team and somehow factor into the future. Brilliant stuff.

There's that "L" word again.

All the optimistic folks love to talk about LUCK, as if every team who's won a Superbowl, "just got lucky"

This isn't the lottery, luck has nothing to do with the awful roster construction Grier has put forth, his entire time as GM. When your team is as thin as a wet paper bag, blaming "injury luck" doesn't hold water.

Sure it does.

Show me another team that’s lost more talent to career altering injuries than the my team has?

The Dolphins weren’t unlucky to have Tua’s career redefined by a highly illegal hit?

The Dolphins weren’t unlucky to see Jaelen Phillips career practically disintegrate just at the point that he was being an absolute game wrecker? A month before that injury in NY, he gave Lane Johnson the worst beating of his career.

Connor Williams was an elite center so? Not just good, but he was elite. As if you could’ve found a better replacement than Brewer in your mock draft simulations.

Bradley Chubb didn’t even play last year after the best season of his career, not that I’m his biggest fan.

Show me another team that’s been stripped of a first round pick, let alone a first and third?

It’s fair to say that no other team comes close to that level of bad luck?

That’s not spin, that’s just facts. There is no team that can close that kind of misfortune.

You can't blame luck for Tuas injuries, he was always injured in college, this didn't just start happening. Grier tied this team to multiple players just like Tua, who had extensive histories with injuries.

Its not bad luck, its bad management for drafting them to begin with and then even worse managment to not have good backups in place for when these players inevenitably got hurt.

I can blame it when the major injury is the concussions. Which again, was created by a dirty hit that would’ve injured any human on earth. It was damn near criminal action shoving the guy to the ground like that. That significantly altered his career.

How does one replace Jaelen Phillips, Connor Williams and Bradley Chubb on the fly? Not to mention losing Van Ginkel before the playoffs.

Your crystal ball is so much better than everyone else’s, I’ll give you that.

You’re correct, I thought it was end of game. I’m getting too old, my mind is going a bit. šŸ˜‚

Jags were up 10 at that point and if Etienne scores Jags would have been up 17. Definitely changed momentum of the game.

Always injured in college? Stop talking out of your ass… just once? Missed one game due to an ankle, and hurt his hip WEEK 11 after being 9-1. Soooo much time he missed. Hip injury was not because he was ā€œsmallā€ or ā€œinjury proneā€, he held onto the ball far longer tham he should have, something he has clearly worked on. Get off the haterade
