I have to credit Adam Gase. I was having my doubts about him after the 1st 4 weeks of the season. To his credit, he stuck to his guns when he benched under performing players.
I was also hoping that the struggles offensively and defensively were just part of the learning curve and NOT a Cam Cameron effect (incompetent coaching).
If the last 2 weeks are any indication, it appears to be the former. Cautiously optimistic, but with these 2 wins, perhaps the team believes in Adam Gase.

Still a work in progress, but yeah, you can see the improvement.

One thing that I notice is that there still seems to be a lot of confusion in and out of plays. Defensive players not knowing what to do, wrong personnel, plays coming in late, that kind of thing. Along with the penalties, that must improve.

Unbelievable that people wanted to out the new coach after 3 games in the NFL. Like seriously?

I've liked the guy all along, but I think if nothing else you can see the guy is a leader. And he seems to be progressing along the learning curve as a first time HC, so really my biggest concern moving forward past this season is whether the FO can pull it's collective head out of it's butt and start functioning like a winning franchise. I think we can win a lot with Gase at HC, but we still have a lot of holes that need to be filled with smart drafting and competent FA management.

Ever more so what I like about Gase. (Along with a healthy offensive line) He changed the way the offense operates. Less tempo, more running. Pulling linemen and tight ends to lead for Ajayi.

Ps. Ajayi is an ANIMAL!

Anyone whose surprised at improvement needs to go back at learn the basics of football. New offenses, new systems, and new language isn't going to come rolling out like a nicely pressed suit on day 1. It takes time for recognition and speed. I do hope they are able to eventually go back to that no huddle attack.

Gase gets my props. This season could have unraveled and instead his team is trending upwards. Probably still not gonna amount to anything this year but as a first year coach he can establish something to build on.

I agree with the learning curve being part of the early problems. We still see assignments and communication. Issues, but Gase made the adjustments he needed to make. He is showing a talent to get more out of players. This was Mario's best game of the season. Less time seems to have worked.

Wow a coach that actually adjusts and sticks with the running game even late in the game down by a few scores. I'm just happy to not have to see Philbins goofy face on the sideline anymore.
