Potential rule change to impact underclassmen draft decisions… There is some speculation that ongoing talks between the NFL and players’ association regarding the next collective-bargaining agreement could influence some underclassmen to make the jump to the NFL this winter. According to reports, the new CBA, which would likely be in place for the 2007 draft, would limit how much guaranteed money rookies could make.


Interesting note that could impact Young and Quinn. I think they are coming out.

Finally.. i believe a veteran earns the right to the money he gets
Rookies ... unproven...Don't deserve that same monetary respect. I believe there is almost too much put on a rookie to "change the face of a team"
It's a different game. The worst player was still a star on his college team. College rules dont apply.
Is there a rookie that leads the NFL in any category?
Reward players who reward US.. the fans .. their team.. and produce great careers

You wouldn't want you company to hire a guy to do your same job and pay him 5 times as much as you... and they don't even know if he will be as reliable and consistent as you.... It's the simplest analogy I could use.
