Just said that RW very well may be traded for a 2, but he thinks that Miami shouldn't trade him for anything other than a QB that can help them now.

I think anything in the 2nd round or above would be fair... guys in LATE rd 2 selected last year that were of good impact: 45- tatupu 47- nugent 48- Odell thurman 56- darrent williams... there are others u can make a case for too...
 
I've always said that unless it helps us get our QB i am oppossed to trading ricky...
 
If Saban trades Ricky for a second round pick, I hope its not to an AFC team. Also the pick just might be to help our QB problem as Saban might be eyeing a QB in the draft that might not last past the 2nd round.
 
I would make the trade, with no strings attached. I don't understand why people are linking trading ricky but only if we get a QB. That makes no sense to me. IMO, ricky's best days are way behind him, I just don't see him playing nearly as hard as he used too. Last year I saw him get flattened by a CB and honestly the sideline was his best friend, even when we were trying to run the clock out in the closing minutes of the last 2 games ricky runs out of bounds... He just doesn't have "it" anymore. Is Ricky a good back.. yes, is he great ...no.
 
I'd take a 2nd rounder in a second for Ricky. That's a fine deal.

Lebatard is an idiot though, and I doubt there is anything to the rumor.

I'd trade him for a second. Nothing less though. And I think we will regret not having him in the short run.
 
I bet when he's gone, and Ronnie goes down, we'll have 1,000,000 threads a day like "IF we still had ricky", "What now ricky haters??"

The ONLY way we should trade Ricky is for a #1 OR as a package deal to move up in the draft to nab a Franchise type QB...Leinart or Cutler.
