Cowher already said he is not going back to coaching.
 
funny how desperate of a fan base we are (myself included).

we are waiting with bated breathe for news of a firing(s).... for news of anything, really.

what a difference a couple of weeks make.
 
Why would anyone want a guy that hasn't done anything in the game for years? I never understood this with Gruden/Cowher. Could they even put together a legitimate staff? Usually Coaches will have guys loyal to them and move around like a unit. I'm not talking about coordinators, you can get those guys whenever. I'm talking scouting teams, personnel people, equipment workers.

Most fans always say "bring in the new up and comer with fresh ideas and innovative systems" then they want a dinosaur on the staff. And don't give me his superbowl ring as an excuse to pay him 7mil a year. Hes been a family man for the last 6, whatever he was doing in the past is in the past. Look at Shanny. That went swell.

I can assure you that the 80% of people on this forum that are waiting, like you said, with bated breathe for our entire FOs firing doesn't constitute the whole fan base.

1) I never said anything about 80%. Perhaps that's not your intended message, but that's how it was written.
2) I include fans who do not post on this (or other) fin forums as part of the fan base. Not sure why you assumed I didn't.
3) Not a stretch to say that the majority of the fan base is waiting for the news on whether or not there will be FO firings, regardless if they want someone to be fired or not. If you don't care about whether or not there are going to be changes in the fins front office, chances are you're not that big of a fins fan. Those who are desperate (such as myself) are the ones who are thirsty for a change in the FO.
 
Didn't Ross meet with Cowher in the Bahamas late last night?

Very interesting.
