After hearing how Bentley called out his teammates for their lack of commitment to the team and to winning (in particular Joe Horn), how can you not want him in a Dolphins uniform? Talented guy at a key position (especially for us) who plays with great pride and intensity. Sign him now!!!!
 
We already have our center. We need a guard or two.
 
Hadnot. He was an All American at center. I think he found his spot on the line with Mckinney on the out.

what year was he all american? love rex, but at guard. sign bentley at c, leave rex at guard (right side) with james at guard on the left. sounds hot.
 
Hmm.... someone that shares my first name. LeCharles. Haven't seen that too much.
 
All Members Please Read - Forum Changes!
Hello Everyone!


Because the staff at FinHeaven is always looking for better ways to organize, and streamline the site, we've decided to re-structure a portion of it.
You'll notice that what was once the College| Draft Forum has now been split.
We've renamed the original forum to simply "College Football" and created a new forum called "Draft Forum". We are now in the process of moving threads around so that they are in the appropriate forums.
We've also created a new sub-forum within the General NFL forum, called "Free Agents".
We ask that you keep these forums in mind when posting, as we'd like to continue keeping the main Dolphins forum uncluttered, and pertaining to the current Dolphins team.

When posting, please keep these guidelines in mind:

Miami Dolphins - Please keeps threads related to current Dolphins players/staff etc here

College Football - Please keep threads related to current college teams/players/games here

Draft Forum - Please keep mock drafts/draft wish lists/potential draft picks, etc in here.

Free Agents - Please keep discussions about potential free agents here.

We realize that this may mean an adjustment for everyone, but we feel that in the long run it will make things easier for all of us. Not only will it make it "cleaner" and uncluttered in the main forum, but it will also make it easier to find the FA discussions, mock drafts etc...

If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact the Staff either by PM or by posting in the Questions and Comments forum.

Im guessing Junior/Senior year? He's been a true center stuck in a Guards spot. Your plan sounds like a nice line, but how does this sound to you. Hutch, Hadnot, Tony Fonti. Now thats not a bad interior line either.

sounds great but what are the chances of that happening? hutch isn't leaving the seahawks, and don't you risk a bit by adding too many new starters to the offensive line? if i'm adding two new linemen, and it's certainly not me doing the adding, i'm looking for an upgrade at LT and C, and two new linemen is plenty.

ps, re the all american thing, he appeared on some pre-season all american watch lists, but i haven't found any all american lists with him on them.

Hutch is a f/a, and Fonti only signed a one year deal. Both of whom will become f/a this year.. It can certainly happen for sure. As far as your lt upgrade, if we get a fix at qb though f/a like David Carr somehow coming available, then I see LT being a possibility come draft day. Somebody like Eric Winston out of Miami could be there. Saban did say he wanted the line addressed. How big or how little the change...Will find out.
 
Don't forget that LeCharles Bentley went to the pro-bowl a few years ago playing guard. So If we could sign him (or Founoti) and draft an elite LT in the first rd our line could look like this:

LT Eric Winston (via draft)
LG Jeno James
C Rex Hadnot
RG LeCharles Bentley/ Founoti (via free agency)
RT Vernon Carey

also remember by keeping Hadnot at center his dumb false starts penalties are eliminated.
 
I'd rather have Huchinson but would not cry if we got Bentley.I see us taking a LT in the 1st or 2nd round this year too.Specially if Cutler's gone.

bentley at center and hadnot at guard!!!! either way your post looks real good to me.
 
IMO we need an interior "presence" Bentley at C or Hutch at G fit the Bill and Hadnot can go to the spot left open.....Its nice he gives us that flexability.
