i'm surprised we haven't made a move on him or terry glenn. i would think it's either that neither are healthy right now or the staff has been pretty impressed with our young oline and wrs.

Isn't Bentley suffering from a real bad injury? I think he hasn't played since 05 right? It makes sense that they would bring in Glenn though. He's a Cowboy, and a Parcells guy going all they way back to New England.

i thought bentley was deemed healthy prior to his release. that he asked to be released by the browns so he could find a starting job elsewhere.
healthy he like glenn would be a nice veteran presence on the oline and wr cores.
Bentley is a guard/center. I like the Justin Smiley signing, and we have a good up and comming starting center. We could bring him in to try for a guard spot, or maybe a back up center. I think he plans on starting where ever he goes.

if healthy he could start opposite smiley at the other guard and be a backup center to satele in a pinch.

Yeah I'd agree with that we have a bit of a proble at that RG position and also depth in general if Smiley was to go down would be a huge concern.
I'd have no problem bringing him in if he is healthy.
