Did anyone else see this?
Dan and Skip were playing the Ranking game and the topic was "Coaches on the hottest seat."
Of course our beloved Wrongstedt was among the coaches named.
LeFatard kept saying "He has more regular season wins than Belichek"; "He has more regular season wins than Martz"; "He hasnt had that much talent to work with."
God Damnit LeFatard, why dont you get a threesome going with Sticky-Icky Williams and Dave Wrongstedt and get it over with.
Apologetic scum!!!
:fire:
Edited to add:
Skip ranked Wrongstedt first.
LeFatard ranked him third behind Scottenheimer and Haslett.

In this case, La Batard is factually correct about who has the most regular season wins the past 4 seasons, circumstances aside.
As for his not having as much talent to work with, that may be true, at least from the offensive side of the ball, but part of the problem could also be he formerly had the final say in player accrual, until this offseason. Now, Rick has the final say, and as for a pure talent standpoint addition this may have been our best new group of free agents and draft picks combined in the past 5 offseasons since he and Dave have been there. Coincidence? Maybe.

Like Harry Callahan said: "A man's got to know his limitations".
Dave is a better coach than he is scouting new talent and if he will just accept it and let Rick and the scouting staff do their jobs, he may be better off.

Not only that, but he was PTI. Someone had to take that side.

That may be true, but Martz and Belichek have gotten teams to multiple superbowls and won, Daves highlight in ten years is a wildcard win in overtime, at home....over a team with no defense.:shakeno:

Exactly.
Couldn't have said it better myself.

Did you see him the other day when he referred to Travis Henry as Leonard. Bayless looked at him like "who the hell are you talking about?"

martz never won a SB just as part of coaching like wanns

That's like saying Joseph Stalin was a better piano player than he was an interior decorator.

I am surprised by this. Lebatard is one of the guys who writes and speaks negative about Wanny more than any person in the South Florida media. He has made it known that he does not like him.

Maybe he was having a guilty conscience :shakeno:

:roflmao::lol::rofl4::clap::lol2:

perhaps it's one of those things 'in the family' ....i.e. it's deemed acceptable for negative criticism from within but not from outsiders.....

I stand corrected, however, Martz did win an NFC Championship as head coach and reach and lose a close Superbowl.......which is still much more impressive than Wannstedt's head coaching achievements.............
