Also in attendance was former England World Cup-winning rugby captain Martin Johnson, who caught the eye of head coach Cameron despite being the age of 37.

“I spent the whole dinner trying to tempt Martin out of retirement,†joked Cameron. “To see him standing next to Jason Taylor he looked a really impressive specimen – even at his age. He made it clear that it wasn’t going to happen, though, and after I learned that he had to play 48 rugby games per year and that their season lasts 11 months I can understand why he might be ready to get out of sprts.â€Â

yea, rugby is insane. its hard to imagine a sport thats rougher than football. i crack up all the time when the guys in the nfl are crying and whinning. turf toe...hang nails keep them out of games. if they had half the intensity as those guys, itd be a lot more entertaining (of course, not saying that ALL nfl guys are whimps, just generalizing)
