Miami cannot afford to lose a 5th rounder for Joey. He should sit now. The season is kaput.
I would also love to see what we may or may not have in Cleo during a live game setting.

benching him only to keep him from passing some "milestone" in a contract is ****ed up.

would you bench a player if he had 999 rushing yards because he gets a bonus for going over 1000 yards? i hope not. Its called class and putting the best people on the field.

were not talking about money were talking about picks

Yeah well so is life sometimes. He is a big boy and should be able to deal with it. We need our 5th round draft pick! :fire:

Saban hasnt got the sense....He will keep Joey in, make it a 5th AND THEN, he will sit Harrington 1 game late!

if the fins were not willing to give up that pick, then they should never have put it in to the deal. to find some loophole to snake their way out of it would be messed up. IMO, you honor the deals you make.

Sit Joey and see what Lemon can do, we're done for the year anyway. We also need to know what we've got in Lemon anyway.

That is not a loophole. It was agreed upon by both parties. It is Miami's decision/choice to make on whether they want to surrender that pick.

Well, we are playing him because of need... not because we want to. And its not like he is playing good... or deserving of playing. He sucks. So bench him, give Detroit our 6th next year... and see what Lemon has got.

How is that messed up?

It's messed up because:

1. It is completely classless and a surefire way to kill FA interest in our team.

2. It is an overly narrow view of what is happening here. This TEAM is losing, not just Harrington.

3. It shows the team that the coach doesn't care about trying his hardest to win. You will have to either fire the coach, or release almost the entire team after this, as there will be no respect from one to another.
