Lennox Lewis planning comeback to fight Klitschko

To me, it looked like it wasn't a matter of if this rematch would happen, but when...

Klitchsko outboxed Lewis in that fight a few years back, and everyone knows it. That cut saved Lewis's heavyweight title.
 
The best part of this is that we won't have to listen to Lennox in the Boxing After Dark booth for a while. He is 'absolutely' one of the worst sports commentators ever.

In all seriousness, though, this is pretty exciting news. I hated the way that fight ended, hated the Lewis interview after the fight, and have been praying for a rematch ever since. Hopefully Vitali knocks him to next Tuesday.
 
I wish Lennox wouldn't do this but I bet their throwing a boatload of money at him. He's fat right now so it's going to take a while for him to comeback. Again, I wish he wouldn't do this but I guess he'll have to learn the hard way!
 
If this were a few years ago, I'd be exited. But now, I don't want it to happen.

Lennox is a 41 year old heavyweight. He hasn't trained in over 3 years, much less fight. He certainly hasn't been in boxing shape. At 36, Klitschko still has some youth left. But he hasn't fought in over two years either.

I don't feel like it's going to be a great fight. They'll both throw big punches. But if nobody gets knocked out early, expect a slow, plodding fight with two very tired fighters at the end.

That said, I think Lennox if more likely to get beaten up pretty good.
