There it has been said and brought out in the open.
these two great players played their last downs in a dolpin uniform. sure i too hate to see them go but if we are to have any chance they have to go. In the same manner that Marino was let go. Have mercy on them.

How do you figure any of that.

Not bashing you, but if you're going to make statements like that you should at least back it up with WHY you feel that way.

Just so you know. This has been put "out in the open" for quite some time now, by numerous people. They won't both be gone. Taylor will be here and Zach unfortunately will be gone.

go ahead and bash. nonsense threads with nothing to back them up are always bashable.

looks like your in for a surprise because Parcells endorsed keeping Taylor basically the day he was hired

Who's the Dolphin's GM????

Am I missing something since I got home from work, or did the Dolphins fire Jeff Ireland and hired RIXON as GM???

We didnt "let" Marino go he retired after a 17 year carreer. And if Miami just cut J.T. and Zach this Franchise would be the laughing stock of the N.F.L. If you want Taylor and Thomas gone, then you want to trade them for picks or another player(s).

Thanks for asking Alex

These guys are in their last year or two of their career.
these guys are not part of the future they are the past. they gave us some great performances on the field and were leaders of (im sorry to say) a losing franchise.
We need new stars and new leaders and new blood on this team. forget the past and any link to the past.
Guys the reason we stunk is b/c we had the same bunch of losers on the field the last decade.
These guys are great players but on the worst era of the franchise. Let them go and get whatever you can if anything.

At the very least do it for them. they have given us all they could. have some mercy on them and let them go to a winner. while they can still somewhat play this game.

I could possibly see it with Zach for injury reasons ONLY!

But JT? explain?

I actually think we should keep Zach because it'd be nice to keep his veteran leadership around.

As for JT, we should be able to get AT LEAST a 3rd round pick for him and I think we should do that. It was obvious last year that JT is sick of playing for this team and his whole primadonna act got pretty old.

And a tip for the OP, you should back your statements up. This is the 2nd thread from you I've seen today with just a bold statement.

A chance at what?

Tell that to Strahan, who is, ironically 3 years OLDER than Taylor, and even more ironic, in the superbowl... Is this another one of your wonderful analytics? :bugeye:

there's a difference between 'letting them leave' and 'kicking them out'.....until they ask to be released, what you are describing is kicking them out, and these two don't deserve that.

As for your 'losing franchise' comment....they've been a part of 3 losing seasons in 11/12 seasons here. Not exactly habitually losers like you insinuate.
