Cap permitting is the key. The cap does not permit. CERTAINLY we could not sign both AND LAW.

No chance.
 
okay, font size aside, now you are losing it. We should have signed Edge at RB then too. Imagine, Ricky, Brown & Edge. The 3 headed beast - we could run Wishbone!!!

$$$, unlike size, matters.
 
I pretty sure that would be a salary cap problem. We do still have to sign our rookies that we draft.

wow dude we would have to restructure alot of contracts to get both so law would definetley be out of the question. This team is making strides we dont need to be greedy. We dont want to start looking like washington who is spend thrift yet never on the winning end of it......

That would be amazing but won't happen....too much $$$$$$$$$$
 
If we sign both, I think we would have to cut Josh Shaw to save cap room.
 
i dont think we get law now with allen signing. plus id rather not be greedy. ill take arrington or peterson.

there are work arounds, but they are incredibly risky. We'd basically have to cross the GAAP & CAP accounting streams.

Signing all the high priced free agents you can find does not equal a super bowl.

Quite possibly the dumbest idea I've heard on here since acquiring Aaron Brooks as a starter in the beginning of free agency (pre-Culpepper/Brees).

Channing Crowder is going to be awesome; why waste the money on 2 more stars? We only need one, but we need that one badly. Arrington or Peterson? Really, it doesn't matter...but signing both would be stupid.
