Every week I'm going to make an official prediction thread so we can come back and look at our assanine predictions and our stellar ones.

Miami @ Washington

I'd be downright deflated if we lost this game, but we won't. I think Lamar Miller is going to go nuts and the play action will be huge. I can see us getting up early and riding the running game to a 27-13 season opening win on the road
 
I made my thoughts known in that nonsense 'keys to the game' thread, but if I can be perfectly serious for a moment here:

Washington is a BAD football team:

- They have a bad quarterback who didn't even get the benefit of full starter reps through training camp.
- The right side of their OL (i.e. the guys who will be going up against Suh and Wake) are shaky to say the least.
- Their defense isn't good. Their secondary in particular is awful.
- Their best offensive players are their Left Tackle, a workhorse RB, and an inconsistent wide receiver. Sound familiar?

I thought Jay Gruden would be a good coach -- I wanted us to bring him in for an interview when it looked like Philbin was toast -- but the fact is that he looks like he's in over his head. His team hasn't performed well, he's said some incredibly dumb things, he's mismanaged his roster, and he absolutely gives me that Jim Schwartz vibe.

I expect a win by 10+ points. It's not that I think Miami is going to be great. It's that Washington blows.
 
What I don't get is why did rg3 get all the reps with the ones in preseason and tc, but then cousins is named that starter? Sounds like a coach who has no idea what the hell he's doing.
 
Washington will have under 200 yards of offense, while Miami puts up 450 yards and cruises to an easy 27-16 win.
 
For the first time in a while Miami will put up a 40 burger on the scoreboard. The Dolphins defense dominates and Ryan & company roll over their D. Joe pulls the starters in the 4th quarter and the Skins put up a couple of garbage time TDs.

i predict 30-10 Miami win. I know that's a ridiculous spread, but I really think we are going make some redskins fans miserable - i'd be lying if i predicted a lower score for us.

I think this is pretty accurate but I'll say 37-16 with the starters coming out early in the fourth quarter.

Because prior to his concussion RG3 was the starter.
 
Miami wins this easily. I'm not giving an exact score but I expect a margin of victory by at least 17.
 
These games are always tough on me. A lot of my friends are Redskins fans. All of the local sports talk radio shows talk about the Redskins all day. I listen to it b/c I like sports but it drives me crazy at the same time. It'll be on local TV. I'll see everyone locally wearing their gear. It'll be on the radio. It cannot be escaped.

Miami has to win this game by any means necessary. I'd be ecstatic if they won 35-14.
 
Honestly, we are going to **** all over Washington...**** the score, it will be embarrassing for the Skins.

Phins Up...and **** all those in the way!
