Being in maryland, when the colts moved away, EVERY dolphins game was on here...I was so sad to see the ravens come to bmore. Don't see many phins games now...unless they are the "national" game.
 
i read in the sun sentinel or herald today that the dolphins announced that friday's home game against the panthers will be televised locally by WFOR cbs 4. it didn't say anything about a sellout, but that must have been the hold up. everything i've read online suggests that preseason games get blacked out in the home markets all the time.

Preseason never gets sold out... Miami has contracts with stations in Ft.Myers, West Palm, and Orlando. Those are the only 3 locations (and surrounding areas) that receive preseason games outside of Miami/Ft. Lauderdale.
 
When I lived in Miami they would black out the preseason games.

I used to drive to the Keys and watch them at Hog Heaven. :up:

Direct TV right now doesn't show the Fins game tomorrow. It has a Rich Eisen preseason football special and the POST game Dolphins show. I hope it really does get televised.

well, something has to be going on. i'm in the miami/fort lauderdale area, and the tv guide for WFOR says the NFL special tcdrover mentioned was going to air at 7:30pm (after dolphins pregame and before the postgame show). something must have occurred for them to make a special announcement today that the game would be televised locally.
