This team is not that bad and Gase is a pretty good coach. I know I’ll get it from the over reactors that think for some ungodly reason this is a playoff team and should be blowing teams away and Gase and Tannahill are the reason we are being held back but it’s simply not true.

Now take a couple of hours to let your blood cool down thinking if we would have scored some TD’s in the red zone we could have won and Gase is to blame for not having a good backup. Fact is most teams starting backup QB’s lose a lot more than they win because it’s hard enough finding a good starter let alone A good back up.

Gase has coached this team to 5 victories with Brock starting 5 games. He has seen both his Lines decimated by injury and if your going to win in the NFL you better have good O and D lines. Sure he needs to hand over play calling but he’s gotten 5 wins out of a team that has had endless injuries on both lines. I have to give him credit for getting the most out of this team.

If this team could stay healthy and we can find a QB just a notch above Tanahill we could see.......

Ok forget it, I’m dreaming, fire them all and start over!

Tough for my blood to cool down when I expect losses at good teams. I don’t know if I’ll ever have full confidence in Miami again. I’m not even trying to use hyperbole either.

Cant really blame it on gase, i don't like his playcalling and his management of personnel

But injuries the past 3 years have been a real liability.

Tha voradcasters said we had like 25 players injured today

I would understand if it was his first year... But even in his 2nd year his starting QB went down and he didn't even learn from it.

Gase deserves to lose his job for ineptitude of the entire team. Some posters on here would be content with having him as headcoach forever so long as we keep having injuries.

You have to win in spite of your injuries, and that is why depth is so important. Even Buffalo has more depth at the QB than we do, and they are a **** show.

What I hope happens is that this place implodes on Gase with 2 huge losses to the Bills.

.

Really? You hope we lose two games just because you hate Gase?

Sorry, I hope we win them both and you implode.......

What I find troubling is the amount of injuries. What is going on in Miami? Did we field an entire offensive line of backups at GB? The C and LG are on IR, the LT and RT were out today. A backup QB in Lambeau. Miami had no chance with that lineup and then we injure Jakeem and Parker. Why is Drake not getting more carries? I feel we are running Gore into the ground - he'll be the next one to get hit by an injury.

That is what bothers me more than anything.

After what we went through last year with Cutler, he still avoided the QB position.

Inexcusable in my book.

I really think Gase needs to hire proven offensive and defensive coordinators going into 2019. Injuries have killed the team especially the offense. However Gase's play calling leads a lot to be desired and Burke's defense is a complete failure with their only saving grace is when they are able to cause turnovers. I believe their is enough talent on the defense that a more qualified Defensive coach could get better results. Defense is another boundary CB, DE and LB from being very good. Burke's scheme is just awful as is his game planning.

I'm in the camp of we were really good before injuries piled up, especially the OL and QB.

And as bad as Brock has been Miami's offense has actually performed better under him than under Tannehill when Miami's offense averaged 15ppg while giving up 2.8ppg. And I am not a Brock fan by any means. Keep in mind what happened when Tunsil went out against the Bengals and their D outscored Miami's O by 14 points. And Tannehill had Wilson which Brock hasn't had for the past 3.5 games.

Wilson's speed was really the catalyst for most the offensive production for the year which also helped out utilizing Grant's speed.

The real problem is that Gase has had 3 years to go after a legit starting QB to begin with and has chosen not to. Instead relied on a bottom third starter with injury issues the past two years. His inability to coach talented players is another.
