Danny dimes ran a 4.81 at the combine and he’s looking pretty darn good right now
but that's just it. mendoza isnt agile or nimble either. imo, hes joe flacco. we'll see in the next fews years! He ran that in High School though. Most people are thinking he’s around 4.70-4.75 right now. Herbert ran a 4.68 at the combine. I suspect once he declares, and trains for the combine, he will be around Herbert’s times.
I don’t think Mendoza will be some fast scrambler, but he’s big and knows when to run. It’s kind of like Mahomes. Mahomes is slower than molasses, but no one will say he’s a bad scrambler. Mahomes ran a 4.8. That’s Tua slow.

imagine thinking a guy who ran a 5.05 is going to somehow be scrambling a la justin herbert or Jaxson dart out there in the pros. grier, is that you?
I agree. They should trade for Tua.. given his long term stability at the position & success rate against top tier opponents. It's a no brainerChiefs might be looking for a new qb, Mahomes has 2 ints at start of the 2nd quarter

I just think Mendoza will be good at avoiding pressure because he has that innate gift of knowing when and where to run.
Dante Moore does it all. Throws from the pocket, avoids sacks, throws on the run, scrambles, and he has a strong arm and throws with velocity. He’s just very slight of frame so that worries me. I’ve watched every Oregon game. Other than injury risk he’s a top prospect. But that injury risk is real. I’m assuming you watched the Indiana game - not his best. But he’s very good.I think Mendoza is a more fluid athlete than he gets credit for. Just this last week there was a few throws across his body on the gallop that you wouldn’t think would be in his tool box.
Seller’s does some crazy things on tape. I’m in. That’s the kind of tool set you want to take a chance on top 5 and some definite offset. He doesn’t think run as much as you’d expect given the athlete.
I don’t see it with Dante Moore and I’m not a Ty Simpson guy. But yet I see them as the top 2 qbs off the board routinely. I must be missing something.
