maverick here and i am reviewing the dolphins schedule so lets confab on our schedule and tell me what the chances are that we go 10 wins. first let me say that I hope we go 10-6 but after looking it over i dont see us going 10 wins but it could happen .
first up is
@ Washington i say= win
vs dallas I say automatic loss
ny jets I say = loss
oakland I say = win
@ houston I say = loss
@cleveland I say = loss , but its a shame how far down we have fallin
vs new england I say = loss
vs giants I say = win
open I say = we are counting the days till the heat open up the
season.

vs buffalo I say = slim chance but hopefuly we surprise people and win
it. loss
@ philly I say = automatic loss
@pittsburgh I say = win
vs jets I say = loss
@ buffalo I say = win
vs baltimore I say = no chance in hell , loss

@new england I say = a 10 % chance we win ,loss
vc cinci I say = a loss but would not be surpriesd if we sqeezed out a win.

so I think we win 5 games tough schedule is the reason but 6 wins is not a long shot.:boohoo: :ninja: :cooldude: :tantrum:

8 wins is a major possibilty i dont see how you can see us losing to cleveland with their unsolved problems at QB and our monster D

It is a very tough schedule. I am hoping we go 8-8, it would be great. The problem is that our first 8 games may not look "brutal" but with a new coach and the new key players, it will be an uphill battle to learn the new systems (3-4 and Cam's offense). I think the last 8 games will be very tough because even though we may be in a groove of how things work, we face very tough opponents. December WILL ruin my Christmas.

Same thing was said when Cleveland whipped Miami 20-0 a couple of years ago .99% of dolphin fans had that game checked off as a win.. And Miami got killed.. I don't know how you can check off a win for Miami in ANY game with the pathetic state of affairs Miami is in ..5-11 . And 6-10 if Miami is extremely lucky..

Monster D ? Points is the most important thing on the scoreboard and stat sheet .. And Miami's D was ranked 23rd for points allowed..

ummmm..........I say we def. beat Cleveland and Houston bc our defense will ransack both. I don't think that Dallas is a definite loss either...New head coach, plus last 5 or 6 games of the season Romo looked below average.

Like our defense got ransacked out of the stadium the last 3 times we played those teams over the last 3 years ?? Umm , Miami is 0-3 against those teams in recent memory. There is no reason to put up those games as an automatic win.. Especially with all the questions and holes with Miami's team .

WTF are you talking about? Miami was 5th in points in the NFL.

The defense was VERY good last year. Being 6-10 just shows how bad our offense really was. This team can be anywhere between 5-11 and 11-5 next year. And it will probably be somewhere in the middle.

I think with MM being demoted (I wish he'd be fired) this team can't help but win another 2 games or so.

6-10 with the likes of beating washington, cleveland, houston,ny jets, bills(once each) and oakland.

You can't be serious. Last year I figured the Fins would be 5-2 heading into the bye week. We were 1-6.

There's no predicting these things.

Washington, Oakland, Houston, Cleveland, and Buffalo are have losing records. So that could be 6 wins right there. Of course, we might also lose all 6 games.

Dallas, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, and the Giants lost just about as many games as they won last year. So they're all beatable. Of course, we could lose all 4 of those games, too.

Philly, Baltimore, the Jets, and the Patsies are all going to be tough games. But three of those games are at home, so... who knows?

To sum up: We could go 10-6 or 4-12. Guess we'll just have to watch and see what happpens.

i am sure saints fans were saying the same thing last year and look what happened to them. our defense is already stellar and the offense couldn't get any worse than it was last year. and we still won 6 games so what makes you people think we cant be a 10-11 win team this year?

Our defense let us down in the texans and browns games last yr bc our offense was always letting them down. There were times when they were completely disheartened and could not carry the offense any longer. The texans game we were one play away from overtime, and we called a halfback pass.....so 1. I think the offensive calls will be better. 2. I think the mass overhall of the offense can only improve it (even if its slight in year one) 3. Our defense has gotten even better.
With those 3 things in mind, I think that we can def. beat the texans and browns.

I can't look at a schedule and say, "we'll win that game or we'll lose that one". Every team is beatable in this great league.
