Maybe Thompson has success early and puts up his best game. To this point, he's been in a tough situation. Except for the last start, he was forced into action. Now, he has some game experience.
Obviously, this needs to be a heavy run approach. Thompson can run so that should be incorporated into the game plan.

I just read that Thompson had 23 rushing touchdowns during his collegiate career. Obviously, he's not Lamar Jackson but he can use his legs and get positive yards.
