Our schedule is brutal. No gimmies. AND NOW WE HAVE CHAD HENNE starting QB! and a CRAPPY DEFENSE!

Henne is going to struggle while he learns the offense and goes through growing pains. Expect tons of INT's and mistakes like the INT for a touchdown we saw yesterday vs the Chargers.

We are in huge trouble. Look at this schedule and tell me we are going to be any better than 3-13. We might even go 1-15.

Out of that schedule, I predict we go about 0-8 until we get a chance to beat the Buccaneers in Week 9.

Then I am giving the Dolphins the chance to get 2 wins out of : Panthers, Bills, or Texans.

That leaves us at 3-13 for the season. With a new young QB and a crappy defense, we are in for a bad season.

Prepare for a top 5 pick in 2010 draft.
 
I am going to be optimistic and say we get 6-8 wins. I think we can turn it around and nobody has any idea what Henne can do. Last year we were 0-2 and didn't look good vs. the Cards and look what happened. Its only 3 games in, a lot can happen think positively. I think we have a good shot a beating the Bills next week, lets worry about that before we right off the whole season.

Please tell me this post is a joke... our team is better than buffalo, better than tampa, and better than the jags.. we have a very fair chance of winning vs panthers/saints/texans... and with the way division games go we always have a chance vs the jets and the pats.

I think 6-10 or 7-9 is a more accurate prediction, saying this miami team with it's run defense and run offense is gonna go 1-15 is completely insane. we almost beat the colts and we were up 6-3 on the chargers in the 3'rd quarter before penny went down/pick 6/ etc....

and the colts and chargers will probably both make the playoffs this year....

were you even watching the games man? we almost beat the colts who could end up being AFC champs.. we are not gonna go 1-15 rofl
 
i dont get it, ya we lost 3 but lets take a deep deep breath and look at the last 3 game. Game 1...4 TURNOVERS....game 2 ****ED by non other than the best qb EVER Manning. Game 3 turnovers in the endzone and CP getting hurt and throwing Henne in with ZERO PREP for this game. We realistically should be 1-2 and 2-1 at best. Calm down, remember yes we are struggling on offense throwing the football but also remember this is the pretty much the same O as last year which every player was catching everything that was coming there way. Maybe it is Penningtons fault, i dont know but we will find out how much henne helps by coming in. Needless to say, we played 3 very hard teams early and play some equally or lesser teams further on (still tough) to say we win only 3 games is silly, GET A GRIP EVERYONE.

You are talking about beating the SAINTS?!?!?? lol

Yeah, we did good vs the Colts. Do you see Chad Pennington anywhere anymore? and by the way, the Colts raped our defense in only 15 minutes.

We suck. and now we have Chad Henne. He is going to struggle and throw INT's..... don't talk about the chargers because we don't have Pennington anymore.

dude... you are seriously overreacting if you honestly think we're gonna go 1-15. Here's a few reasons why we're NOT.

Our rush defense is ELITE (top 3 in league....)

Our rush offense is well above average...


Our secondary looked horrible last few games but GUESS WHAT WE JUST PLAYED PEYTON F'ING MANNING AND P.RIVERS.... both pro-bowlers and one a 100% hall of fame QB both with rocket arms...

the only QB left on our schedule that is near their level is brees... and don't tell me tom brady because he does not scare anyone with his arm nearly as much as manning/brees/rivers.

So we literally just played the 2 best quarterbacks on our entire schedule... and guess what if not for them LITERALLY carrying their teams on their arms, we would have won both games... because we shut down their run game all day long. (brees is the only QB left we have to play who can carry the team on his arm alone)

if you look at some of the teams left and their QB's we should have a much better chance at defending the pass... especially as our ROOKIE CB's develop..

We shut down all 3 teams' running games completely... in games 2 and 3 our rushing offense was also very very good.... to say we are gonna go 1-15 is completely INSANE and 100% overreacting and not looking at the facts[/quote]
 
oh and one more reason why your theory is flawed, Henne will not have to do everything on his own, as our rushing offense is probably one of the best in the entire NFL..


we finish with no less than 6 wins.. and probably more like 7-8

Huh? You guys didn't face Joe Montana. Manning is about the 20th best ever QB, he's not even the best of his generation.

*edited* I typed 30th instead of 20th.
