Let's name guys we think got overpaid this week:

I think Vontae's contract was a little steep as well. I think Hickey did a hell of a job getting the Grimes deal done before the market churned out those kinda contracts
 
Don't forget, Sam Shields was resigned too, but he only got around 14M Guaranteed I do believe. I just look at the guarantees of the contract, not the overall salary. So far, Byrd has gotten the most guaranteed out of all the F/A's... That's scary, I want his agent.

I still think we could've franchise-tagged him and then get a younger, taller stud next year, but it's probably a good thing we're not having to fret that again a year from now cuz he'll be ours.

whitner for sure...no idea what the browns were thinking there...saffold for sure...and yes albert given the about to be 30 in season this year got overpaid...got a contract more along the lines of a top 5 guy 2 years younger

talib too just coming off a one year $5 mil contract got stupid money from the broncos...
