With all of the crud that has been dropped into our laps over the last few years...I think we should try and make 2007 a good one.

No matter whom is given the HC job....Im gonna support them 100%. I fully trust Wayne and the rest of the "Road Warriors" to make the right choice...even if its not the candidate I want.

Once the HC is announced..most likely we will see a ton of flames from those that wanted someone else...lets all just remember this....this is our team. This is the coach we have...lets give him a chance to take us all the way. As long as he is dedicated to the Phins....he has my vote of confidence!!!

What do you say guys.....heres to a GREAT 2007!!!!!! and a return to Glory!!!
 
I want Cameron. But i'm going to fully support whomever is coach.
 
Exactly my sentiments. As a season ticket holder I can't wait to start
t-gating next pre-season. I feel like we have always had high expectations and that is why we are always let down. Now with no expectations and basically giving in to a new regime, I think I will enjoy it more!!

At this point just get a young, creative and exciting coach out there...
Look at the stinkin jets how they improved in 1 yr and they got
pennepasta-arm as their QB.

Side note: Mangini's not gauranteeing Pennington the starting job next year. Can you believe that?
 
Im gonna give my full support to the next HC and The ENTIRE Miami Dolphins organization, as always. Im not gonna go insane on our first loss, and im sick and tired of bandwagon and pessimistic fans. Go phins!
 
I don't care who the new head coach is, I am a Miami Dolphins fan. Even if it is someone that I hate like Martz, a fool me twice coach like Carroll, someone who I'm not optimistic about like Cameron, or if we wind up surrendering draft picks for him like Cowher, I am going to support him 100%.

Exactly. I feel the same way...whomever they hire will be a phin, and therefore, I'll root for them to do well.
 
They are interviewing so many candidates it will make it virtually impossible not to support the coach they hire. They definitely aren't doing the impulse thing this time around. I trust them to make the best decision, with so many candidates on the table I am confident we will finally have a good HC for this team regardless of who it is.

So many candidates is exactly why you will get people complaining about the hire. I am cautiously optimistic that they will get the right guy. But, I will reserve all judgment until we see what his team looks like in December when his system is pretty much in place.
 
100% with you we should support who ever is given the job fin fan for life!!!!!!

Guess I worded that wrong, it is confusing LOL According to Bailey they arent actually candidates what they are doing is first going and meeting with potential candidates. Then they are going to make a list of actual candidates to come into Dolphin HQ and interview.

This is why they are flying everywhere instead of having them come here. When they come here it will officially be the beginning of the interview process and the list of candidates will be much smaller.

I have no problem with the number of candidates, but that is just spin on Bailey's part.

I understand what they are doing, talking to coaches and getting some criticism and input on the state of the Dolphins. They also did not have the usual time that a lot of teams get, because they weren't planning on firing Saban nor did they expect his departure. They are basically meeting with their long list, rather than crossing many of them off before interviewing.

We've seen a lot of people around here fall in love with a candidate or two, and since no one has emerged as the obvious choice that JJ and Dick Saban seemed to be when hired, I am positive that this board will be filled with haters, regardless of the coach.

Yeah that worked with Saban too right???? No, I'm not gonna blast any coach who I haven't seen coach, but if he sucks I'm not gonna worship him like I did with Satan. If he sucks I'm gonna say it because being a blind follower is ******ed and it gets you burned just like we all just experienced.
 
I will support 100% whoever we chose as our HC....but lets just hope Wayne and the organization makes the right choice.
