lets talk kurt coleman

i'm watching the db drills right now and this guy is standing out to me with his good hips and his change of direction...

what has me wondering though is he didn't run the 40... so does anybody have any real ideas on what kind of speed he has???

i like him in the drills a lot...stays low in his pedal makes a very smooth transition...puts his foot in the ground and burst forward with no wasted motion...

looks like a good free safety prospect to me...

I also wonder why he didn't run but Ohio State has a reputation for a fast track so he might have been advised it's just the smart move.

As for Kurt Coleman, I love the guy. I'll have to see if I can't do a search on something I've said about him in the past, to save me the time of typing it all out again.

The bottom line is the guy is a ball hawk. He can intercept the ball, and one thing I like about him is he does little things like always try and rip a ball out of an easy target's hands. He's the leader of the defense at Ohio State and he tackles well.
