since we're alone here :( , I would guess (name at the time) Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and 9 TDs

well, you're one third right. there are actually 3 tied with 3:

i couldn't believe the first name on the list:
ronald scott 10/11/87 vs kansas city

troy stratford 12/7/87 vs jets

sammie smith 12/10/89 vs new england

one i don't remember at all, and the other two were complete washouts!:(

Are you sure of this name? I have been a long time fin fan since the late 60's, and can not place that name anywhere. Can you give some info on who this cat is?

ronald scott was with the fins for one year, 1987. he was a RB from southern. and thats about all it says about him! no weight, height or his speed is not given.

you're exactly right!

Was this during the strike season? Was he a scab/replacement player?
miami scored a 42-0 shutout over kansas city. first ever regular season game at JRS!

That's what I kinda thought, but I still do not really remember the guy. I kinda do, but not 100%. I even remember the immortal Kyle Mackey. Now that the name and correlation are mentioned, I do seem to remember vaguely. But if it had not been brought up here, I doubt if the name would have ever crossed my mind . It's not like people say, "remember Ronald Scott?"

i've been a dolfan since 66...........

and i don't think i've ever heard the name before, its sure not a household word. until you mentioned it, i forgot all about the strike!
