On a local Denver sports talk show it was mentioned that the Broncos may look at getting Lex Hilliard (Or they may have said someone like Lex Hilliard not completely sure) becuase of the loss of Ryan Torain. Torain is a rookie that dislocated his elbow and is out for three months. Shanahan said that Torain was pushing for a starting spot and was going to be used in the red zone because of his size. Any word in south Florida about this? I have been looking online and cannot find a thing.
 
if we can get something for him do it. maybe we should showcase him in the preseason. that would be great.

sounds like ricky, ronnie, parmalee, and cobbs have the rb spot locked down right now although that could change with a good showing in the preseason.

i say trade him if we can get value

I was thinking that too. But I cannot find it talked about anywhere else.
 
It sounds like they will scoop him up when we try to sneak him on the practice squad. Hilliard will then run for over 1000 yards in that system.
 
Not much we can do. The Broncos will wait until we cut him and then pick him up.
