i mean how can you complain, if u make $4.400 a week for 3-4 days work, but somehow i feel these guys

That wouldn't be necessary considering that Simmons has been active for every game this year. However, I would like to see him return.

These guys aren't exactly in poverty. However, they just have to worry a lot because they could very easily be released from the practice squad and make no money at all.

I hope they're being realistic and practical and socking it away (or at least part of it - save, invest, whatever) for when that day comes and they're told to pack their bags.

I don't feel for them. They aren't on the team. They are employed by the team to help the team, with a chance to become a member of the team. Much more opportunity than most ever get, and still some good pay.
