With Pro Bowl linebacker Joey Porter not participating in team drills all week because of a strained hamstring, backup Charlie Anderson is hoping to reprise two of his best games last season -- both in victories over the Bills, Sunday's opponent.
Anderson had a tackle for a safety in the early-season 25-16 win over Buffalo, and then recorded a 15-yard sack of J.P. Losman as well as forcing two fumbles in the 16-3 win in Toronto.
"That was probably my best game," said Anderson, who has started six games in six seasons. "Playing in Canada, it was a different atmosphere. It was time for me to do something.
"I'm trying to fill [Porter's] shoes and hopefully step in and be the best backup I could be."
