If the Dolphins would sign a LB who do you think is the right choice

(Player Name)-(06 Team)

Lance Briggs-Bears

Cato June-Colts

Rob Morris-Colts

Junior Seau-Patriots

Donnie Edwards-Chargers

Al Singleton-Dallas

Tommy Polley-Saints

Brandon Short-Giants

Joey Porter-Steelers

Or any other you think

MIA is Porter's obvious landing spot. Think about it.

We let Dielman go. Havent signed anybody.

CIN doesnt run the 3-4.

CLE does run a 3-4, but they drafted Kameron Wimbley in the 1st round last year...and they'v spend a lot on Steinbach and some others...

BAL does as well, but they dont have enough salary cap space.

This leaves MIA. Yet to make a FA splash. And with the most money now ($24mil and counting) to outbid CLE, CIN, and BAL.

Porter will be a Phin by next week. Once he schedules his visit to MIA...he wont leave without a contract!

Porter....but if he wants too much $$$ than Donnie Edwards can play a couple more years.

We need a pass rusher. Porter is the only one that fits the bill. He, or Tully Banta-Cain.

Porter, but no insane deal. But OLB is an obvious need for this team, and a pass rushing one with size is ideal. Doesn't get much better than Joey Porter. Yea he has some age, but he can turn in a few more solid years. This defense is still top 10 and with the proper tweaking can be top 5. As bad as we need to rebuild, we just need the right pieces and some luck and we can be competitive as early as this season. Joey would be a huge signing in making that happen.

ok but if we sign joey porter I want an LB draftee too (everett or burgess) would be my choice in the 3eme rounder to grow behind zach and joey.

Yea with Willis posting that fast 40, u almost gotta lean towards him a bit . . . man I don't know . . . its true that the draft is the most exciting event in the NFL, even more so than the Super Bowl. I mean sure we watch the Super Bowl but most don't care who wins except the 2 cities involved. EVERYBODY cares about the draft.

Realistically I wouldn't be upset with taking a LB first round, but we have to see how it plays out.

Porter would be great for the next 2-3 years... I would love to somehow get a Tim Shaw or Posluzsky or whatever his name is LOL!! Those 2 looked pretty sick at the combine
