i think it was very admirable for Linehan to comment the way he did on Chambers and to talk about how effective he is going to become with Daunte Culpepper. he could have very easily avoided the entire subject, but he decided to say some very nice, very complimentary things about two of our players :dolphins: . this makes me like Linehan a lot more than i ever did when he was here, because we can at least say he is professional.:cooldude:

Childress on the other hand, could learn a lot from a fellow first year head coach, he's been whining and crying:boohoo: about this whole Daunte Culpepper thing instead of trying to deal with the plethora of problems still facing his own team. it just goes to show that some people, no matter what age, are more mature than others. and also that i dont think Childress really has what it takes at this point to be a successful head coach in this league.:shakeno:

i agree completely, linehan always seemed like a great guy when interviewed last year. I wish him luck because i feel he is good natured, so far with Childress i wish for him to FAIL.

:shakeno: I still can't believe Childress is still being a baby about Culpepper.

That is awesome that Linehan would say the things he said about Chambers. Bet he wishes he was still with Miami now that Culpepper is here. Good luck to him though with the Rams.

what is Childress doing?
Being a little crybaby for losing his franchise quarterback.

Not to mention they murdered half thier cap room by robbing Steve Hutchinson from the Seahawks.

He is just jealous. Lets see Brad Johnson or Daunte Culpepper?? HUMMMMM tuff choice NOT!

a bum tho? Maybe not a bum , he is a head coach of a NFL team so he must have some coaching talent...

Childress doesnt realize that being a head coach is more than being the mouth of the organization. he's been constantly bashing Pepper publicly putting all the blame on Daunte, saying "if only he would have rehabbed in Minny, i would have adopted him as my son...." and then pretty much saying that because he didnt he's equivalent to TO.

someone needs to tell him that he was the coach of the Minnesota Vikings, not Daunte Culpepper, and to continue to coach his team instead of being concerned with players on ours.

hey Arizona represent!

however, just because you become a head coach doesnt mean you're fit for the job. i mean, this whole crybaby, its not my fault, i did nothing wrong act is even FAR below anything Wannstedt would do, and we all know how much love HE gets on this board.

(btw, where you at in Phoenix? my mom lives in Glendale, and i'm in Tucson at U of A)

Like I said before, Childress is trying to justify the Culpepper trade because everybody but him knows he should have gotten more than a 2nd rd pick. Its a topic i'm sure he'll keep referring to as an lame excuse and nothing more.

Great post, I have been thinking the same thing about this Childress guy since he started talking all this ish about DC. His character certainly is not of Saban and Linehan caliber. Everytime I see him talking on the NFL network I want to change the channel.

You cant completely blame Childress for those comments. the media also adds a certain spin to everything...

I will officially root for the Rams from now on b/c i want to see Linehan succeed. I live in LA so i have some Rams in my blood, but will always be Phins at heart.

2006 Superbowl Champions Miami Dolphins --- sounds pretty sweet
