Linehan ranked 9th

Just an interesting read on the subject of coaches in the NFL... but just for discussion, Linehan at 9th... should it be higher or lower?

Saban comments on Linehan leaving to go to St. Louis..

Saban predicted that Linehan will be a "tremendous asset" to the Rams and said he "did an outstanding job" in his one season with Miami.


"Before Scott joined the Dolphins, I considered him to be one of the most innovative offensive coaches in the league," Saban said in a statement. "After working with him this past season, I also came to appreciate his work ethic and organizational skills. I have a great deal of respect for Scott, and I know he is well qualified to be a head coach in the NFL."

That's ninth in ONE category... coveted assistants... he has to be behind several ex-head coaches... and behind a few of the other assistants (Bates, Chow?) as well.

I wouldn't hire him as head coach ahead of most of those guys... but I don't own a team.

I dont know if I'd be paying attention to a news organization which apparently cant be bothered to use spellchecker, much less hire an editor. Pick a format and learn to spell first before you get into the business please.
