Exactly they are two different types of WR's and potential isnt anything! I dont think Burleson is gonna be great with Moss gone for a whole season.

Well, it is a fact that a wide receiver's production is directly tied to the quarterback on the team. Chris Chambers has never had a chance in Miami to live up to his potential, because he has never had a QB that can get him the ball. Choosing to ignore that fact is up to you. Randy Moss wouldn't have gained 1,000 yards receiving with Jay Fiedler as his quarterback.

I think the most important fact about a good quality receiver is the offensive game plan. The Dolphins have been so conservative on offense that Chris hasn't had many quality oppertunities to have outstanding games. He only had big games when we had Ricky as a decoy, plus like you said his quarterback had a weak arm.

And a Quarterbacks production is directly tied to the players that are suppose to protect him....no time...play can't develop...no win....no hole...no run....can't win. See it's easy.

If Linehan is worth the money he signed for then we shouldn't need another big time receiver to make his offense work. Just get Chambers to live up to his potential, and we'll have what the Vikings had: One go-to receiver who takes the pressure off the others. Is anyone convinced that Burleson and Robinson are so much better than Booker and Thompson?

You can't do it without talent. Booker and Thompson don't have the ability of those other guys. And, those guys only did it for a few games. Let's see how good that team is without Moss for an entire season. Plus, they had three very good running backs and a good OL.

But, what you're really missing is that Daunte Culpepper is VASTLY better than AJ Feeley.

Aside from that - no matter how much Linehan or another is paid, they are only as good as the talent they have. Linehan got a good contract, but it's not a contract for a miracle worker.
