On 790 just now. He said, paraphrasing here, they will continue with this and make additional adjustments to make it easier for linehan down there. He said the booth allows a more calm and thoughful atmosphere, but sidelines he gets a better feel for the players and feedback from the players.

Giving Linehan less time to think is probably a good thing. :D

I think this is good news, the offense just seemed more in sync last Sunday with Linehan on the sidelines. It makes it easier for the players to talk to him and get problems fixed.

I like it.. No more beuracracy.

Before the game when I first notice Linehan on the sidelines, I immediately, thought our offesense would have a very good showing. As I recall, last year Jim bates did the samething when he took over, and our O performed alot better. Charlie Weiss was always on the sidelines and look what it did for them..

i think everyones gettin a bit over worked over something that isnt that big of a deal....

I really like this idea. This way if things go bad, Saban does not have far to go, just reach out, put both hands around the throat and squeeze until you feel your anger releasing.

oh yea , less time would be a good thing for me it gives me less time to chose between those beautiful blond women or those beautiful brunetts . oh how i hate having too much time to think about the boocoos of beer that i will chug a lug after a dolphins game.:shakeno: :shakeno: :shakeno:

oooohhh beer..:xii: ...

Seriously speaking, Nick is trying to get the best communications between the team and the coaching staff on gameday. It is easier to talk to the players (playmakers) on the sideline than in a quite booth where he only communicates between the person on the other side of the headphone..
