An arbitrator is expected to hear the Detroit Lions' case in their bid to recover $10.1 million of a rookie signing bonus paid to Charles Rogers, a first-round draft choice whose career was cut short by injuries and drug problems.

Played 3 years for them, then they cut him at the beginning of his 4th season. Heck, he fulfilled his part. Sometimes ya win, sometimes ya lose.

They make it sound as if he had chronic drug issues like Ricky. They suspended him for 4 games in 2005 for failing the test and this was after he sat out 2 seasons in a row due to a broken collarbone. Don't think they have much of a case here.
